Get excited for DISORIENTATION happening this FRIDAY, 7-11PM @ New England Aquarium (1 Central Wharf, Boston, MA)!
If you haven't gotten your ticket yet, registration will be open until 5pm Friday (or until all spots are taken). Tickets are non-refundable and going fast, so lock in yours NOW!
We have a fun evening lined up for y'all featuring food, a cash bar, prizes, and penguins 🐧. Join us for this full-circle moment looking back on one of our first memories together as a class.
To ensure you have the best experience at the event, please carefully review the information below:
🚨 Event Info & Guidelines:
- Tickets & ID: Ticket sales close Friday 9/26 @ 5 PM. No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are non-refundable for any reason. Please bring your ticket, MIT ID (mobile ID works!), and a government-issued ID (required for entry). Guests 21+ will receive a wristband to indicate legal drinking age.
- Times: Doors open at 7 PM and close at 9 PM, with no re-entry once you leave. The bar closes at 10:30 PM, and the venue must be entirely cleared by 11:00 PM.
- Food (7:30–9 PM) & Dessert (9-10 PM): Small bites will be provided while supplies last (show up in time!). It's advisable to have a substantial meal before you arrive. Please do not bring any food or beverages (including water) to the venue, as all items will be inspected and confiscated. See the menu here!
- Cash Bar: Please bring your Government ID and a payment method if you plan to purchase alcoholic drinks from the cash bar.
- Prizes up for grabs: 1 pair of Apple AirPods Gen4, 2 JBL Speakers, 2 JBL Headphones, and 50ish custom Disorientation Penguin Plushies tossed out throughout the night! The raffle winners will be announced at 10 PM in the main tent.
- Transportation: Please arrange your own transportation to and from the New England Aquarium.
- Dress Code: No formal attire is required, come in whatever makes you comfortable! Please do not wear costumes, and keep face coverings/masks off (except for COVID masks) so your face is visible at all times.
- Photography: Photographers and videographers will be present during the event.
- Security: The NEAq Security Team will be present and patrolling the venue throughout the event. The SOLE Office and NEAq Management reserve the right to remove individuals or deny entry to anyone who disrupts order or compromises safety. Additionally, the NEAq reserves the right to refuse entry to any item at its discretion. Please be respectful and comply with the following guidelines:
- Small-bag policy: For the safety of all attendees, no large bags and or backpacks are permitted in the event venue. Only small bags or handbags will be allowed and are subject to search. The NEAq have lockers for self-purchase, and you will be fully responsible for stored items.
- Arrive sober / No alcohol or other substances: Please do not bring any beverages (including water, alcohol, mini liquor nips/shooters) or substances or show up intoxicated. Water will be freely available during the event. Any items brought will be confiscated, and you will be asked to leave the event. Visibly intoxicated guests will not be allowed entry and will be asked to leave.
- Damages: You will be responsible for any damages to the NEAq property. Please also be respectful and kind towards the NEAq staff.
